P – Peter - Sophomore (Philosophy)

Major: Philosophy, struggling with existential doubt.

I came to college thinking philosophy would give me answers to life’s biggest questions, but all it’s done is raise more. I used to be certain about my beliefs, but now I question everything. What’s the point of life? What’s the meaning of suffering? Some days, I feel so lost in my thoughts, like I’m drowning in them. I pray, “God, help me find clarity. Help me know why I’m here, what my purpose is.” But sometimes, the more I pray, the more confused I get. Still, I hold on to the belief that the search for truth is worthwhile, even if I don’t have all the answers yet.
