Major: Engineering, passionate about renewable energy.

Engineering has always been my passion, but being a woman in this field feels like an uphill battle. I look around and I’m usually the only woman in the room. I constantly feel like I have to prove myself. Sometimes, I pray, “God, please help me be strong enough to stand out, to break through the barriers.” I feel like I’m fighting twice as hard just to be seen. But I remind myself every day that my voice matters, that my dreams of working in renewable energy could change the world. I’m determined to make it, but it’s hard not to feel isolated sometimes.
